| Not going to just stand by and let RtG fall. I have found that I am actually running from the problem. I have decided that its time to stop letting people do what they want around here. From this day forth, we are bulking up on the rules and getting some more staff. Starting Friday I'm going to be running through a lot of stuff on this clan such as rules and getting those promotions out and going through with the application and making it absolutely clear that if you break the rules in the clan, there will be a warning and then a swift punishment if it happens again. I'm also going to bring back some old rules we had but revise them a bit that will be set out today and each forum that will have this rule will have a sticky post explaining.
Unban Request, Admin Abuse, Cheater/Hacker Report. From today on until the clan actually dies due to serious issues there will be a rule applied that makes it so nobody is allowed to post in this forum UNLESS YOU ARE THE BANNING ADMIN, PERSON REPORTING OR REQUESTED, OR A EYE WITNESS. As well as legit proof. No more copy and paste chats you have had with somebody. Now we require clear demos or clear screenshots of the incident going on.
Some rules that will be updated and need to be nullified and made clear are things such as respecting players/members/admins. When you guys are reporting somebody or requesting an unban there is no reason to use foul language on each other. Things will get solved MUCH easier and faster if people butt out and let the admins handle it.
I will also be adding a set of Admin Rules in the Admin Lounge and go over and make sure that all the RtG members that have admin have access to it so they can always have them available. As well as some basic ways of handling a problem and banning times that go with what they did wrong. Also admins will now have to supply a demo if they ban somebody they think is hacking no matter what. Any permanent bans they make will have to be reported in a forum I will be making for admins so we can keep clear on why people were banned (Staff will not have to fill it out).
Staff members will also be getting assigned different jobs depending on what I think or what they want and think they can do. Jobs such as monitoring applications and the people applying to see if they make specific requirements and are not spamming to get posts as well as helping recruit new members that they think are good and mature to be in the clan as well as making sure the NEW SYSTEM that will be applied soon is working well and also closing the topics and moving them to Accepted or Denied depending on if they make it or not. Another job will be one such as just moderating the forums. Making sure things are posted in the correct forum and see if people are spamming and posting in the forums that are not allowed to be posted in. Another job will be watching the admins and branch leaders to make sure things are going ok in the servers and site with them and if they are overwhelmed.
There is more things that I will think of soon so don't think that this is all that will be going on. There is way to much work that needs to go on for us to just stop here. | |
